Telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised some of its prepaid plans. It has increased the validity in some plans and made some changes in some plans.
Apart from this, BSNL has started a new prepaid plan and some vouchers have also been withdrawn. Existing customers of ‘these plans’ or STV will be able to continue till the last date of their validity. However, they will not be allowed to use the same plan voucher or STV any further and they can use any of the available recharge offers as per their requirement. The company has discontinued recharge coupons of Rs 47, plan vouchers of Rs 109 and special tariff vouchers worth Rs 998, Rs 1098. Along with this, BSNL is also preparing to offer prepaid plan worth Rs 197 from 3rd April.
BSNL prepaid plan for Rs 197
BSNL’s 197 rupees prepaid plan will give 2GB data daily and unlimited calls for 18 days. With this plan, the unlimited data speed currently available will be reduced to 80 Kbps. It will also give access to the Zing Music app for 18 days. However, the plan is getting validity of 180 days.
This prepaid plan becomes expensive
BSNL has increased the rate of its 365 rupees prepaid plan by Rs 32. Now the price of this annual prepaid plan will be Rs 397 and there will be no change in its other benefits. In this plan, users get unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS daily and 2GB data for 60 days. The plan’s total validity is 365 days.
Prepaid plan of Rs 249 and Rs 298
BSNL offers users unlimited voice calls on any network in the plan of Rs 249. It also gives unlimited data up to 1GB daily, after which its speed reduces to 40 Kbps. Daily 100 free SMS are available in the plan. The validity of these plans is 60 days. The prepaid plan of Rs 298 also gives the same benefit, however, it comes with an Eros Now subscription and its validity is 56 days.
