Rupee opened weak against the dollar at 74.93 this morning. During trading, the dollar remained in the range of 74.95 to 74.55. Finally closed at 74.61 with the strength of 27 paise.
After two days of fall, the rupee today gained 27 paise.
Dollar vs Rupees: In the domestic market, the rupee fell against the dollar for two days, breaking on Tuesday. Today the strength of 27 paise was recorded in the rupee and it closed at 74.61 level. Despite the continued decline in the stock market, the rupee strengthened. Today, there was a huge decrease in the rupee-dollar rate in the interbank foreign exchange market.

The rupee had depreciated 34 paise against the dollar in the last two days. At 6.30 pm, the dollar index was up 0.188 percent at 93.088 points. This index shows the strength of the dollar against the world’s six major currencies.
The stock market fell for the third consecutive day
For the third consecutive day, the BSE 30-share Sensex closed 354.89 points down at 52,198.51 points. On Monday also a big fall was registered in the market. The Sensex has lost more than 960 points in the last three trading sessions. According to exchange data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers in the capital market with net selling of shares worth Rs 2,198.71 crore on Monday.
Huge fall in crude oil
At this time, crude oil was down by 0.61 percent at $ 68.01 per barrel. Crude oil was down 6.75 percent on Monday and it closed at $ 68.62 per barrel. After about seven weeks, crude oil has come down to $ 70.
gold and silver price
According to the global trend, gold became expensive by Rs 253 in the domestic market today, while the price of silver fell by Rs 61. In the Delhi bullion market today, gold closed at Rs 47,100 per ten grams (Gold latest price). In the previous trading session, the price of gold was Rs 46,847 per ten grams. Today silver fell by Rs 61 (Silver rate today) and its closing price was Rs 65,730 per kg.
