There is always a sound of gunfire between India and Pakistan at the LOC. But here recently, shehnai’s voice has also been heard. The wedding of a wedding in a village of Pakistani occupied Kashmir (POK) adjacent to the LOC is being discussed everywhere. This marriage is being discussed for two reasons. The first reason is that the wedding took place close to the LOC and the second reason is that instead of riding on a mare, the groom came to pick up the bride in a helicopter instead of riding on the horse.
According to BBC reports, 25-year-old groom Zubair Rashid is a British citizen. On the wedding day, the groom usually rides the mare and goes to pick up the bride. Some people arrive in a car adorned with flowers or in a buggy to pick up the bride. But Zubair arrived in a helicopter to pick up his bride. Zubair hails from Kajalani village of Charo tehsil of Kotli district of POK. His bride is also from this village.
The family reached Pakistan to marry Britain
Indeed, the situation remains critical due to the coronavirus epidemic in Britain. For this reason, the government has implemented lockdown. In such a situation, it is not possible to marry with pomp. But this family wanted to get their children married with pomp, so this family reached Pakistan to get married. During this, she was married to pomp. Zubair wanted to bring his bride by helicopter, he informed his family.
A helicopter brought from Islamabad and then circled the village
Knowing this wish of the younger brother, elder brother Raja Rauf Rashid contacted a company in the capital of Islamabad. This company provides helicopters on rent. When Zubair’s family reached the village, no one was aware that they were going to see such a grand wedding. The chopper reached the village and riding in it, Zubair set out to pick up his bride. At the same time, people from all over the village came out of the houses to see the procession. A large number of people gathered here. The groom circled over the village by sitting in a helicopter.
Luxury cars also included in the procession
The groom Zubair says that how important this moment of life is to him, he cannot describe it. Zubair’s brother-in-law Raja Nasir told that the groom told him that his bride would be feeling very proud today that her groom had arrived with a helicopter to pick them up. It has been told in the report that the company which sent the chopper to the village, first took stock of the situation of the village through Google Map. Then a helipad was created. Apart from this, more than a dozen luxury trains were sent from the capital to join the procession.
The marriage made possible due to peace in the LOC
This marriage is being discussed so much because it is located very close to the LOC between India and Pakistan. In recent days, due to the ceasefire between the two countries, this marriage became possible. Due to the village being close to the LOC, the wedding and chopper had to be approved by the Pakistani authorities. The family also had to run a lot to get NOC. But eventually, he succeeded.
