Today we are talking about Gaurav Singh Sogarwal, a resident of Jaghina village in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. Gaurav is the son of a great farmer. His father was a farmer, but then he spent the day and night in the fields sweating and teaching his son. Dreamed of becoming an officer for him. They wanted the son to become a big man and make his name light. Talking about himself, Gaurav Singh Sogarwal says that my family background is linked to a lower-middle-class rural family. Since childhood, I have had experience in farming and many other activities.
Gaurav says that his father was a teacher and mother used to take care of the house. We are three siblings. The elder sister has done PG in Biology and the younger brother works in a multinational company in Bengaluru after MBA. My father also had a dream to go to Civil Services. From childhood, Dad prepared for Civil Services. Due to the interest of the village, I also felt enchanted for Civil Services. Civil services had become a mission for me to solve many problems in life and serve the country. But after Dad’s death in a road accident, my world changed drastically.

Dream of becoming an IAS officer along with father since childhood
Gaurav says that my father left without seeing my dream fulfilled. Due to the economic struggle in the family and home, I also got a chance to see many ups and downs of life, but the dream of going to Civil Services had become even stronger now because my father had seen it for me. After some time, after engineering from Pune, he took a private job for about three years to improve the economic conditions of his home. Then came to Delhi in 2013. Here Roadways officials told that these students will have screening test before sitting in buses.
IAS officer Gaurav had to face failure many times
Indian Administrative Service Gaurav further states that after that he will be boarded in buses. They will be provided with masks, sanitizers, breakfast packets and water bottles in the bus. In the days of struggle, it was difficult to balance your studies and to meet the needs of the family. In the first attempt, I missed the preliminary examination by 1 mark. After this, in the second attempt, I remained in the main exam by 1 point. These failures had troubled me a lot from inside, but by remembering the days of my struggle and taking recourse to the name of God, I set out to prepare again.

The first selection was done as Assistant Commandant in BSF
Gaurav says that during this time I was selected in the BSF as Assistant Commandant. Therefore, the worry of employment is no more. In my third attempt, I focused on answering for the main exam and tried my best to overcome my weaknesses. Newspapers have become very important in my understanding strategy. I tried to develop my understanding closely on the events happening around me and also included my background and my experiences in my answer, as a result of which I got better marks in the main exam by preparing for this time.
Finally, IAS officers have crossed every conflict
Finally, Gaurav says that I got Uttar Pradesh cadre in IAS. Please tell that today Gaurav Singh Sogarwal is an IAS officer in Uttar Pradesh and currently SDM is posted in Gorakhpur. Also, during the Corona crisis, the work of Gaurav and his IAS wife, who are full of dedication in relief work, is being discussed every time and there are many ways too.
