Agriculture Success Story of farmer Swapnil Shivaji Mali While talking about this, Swapnil Shivaji Mali says that his mind was already in agriculture. He also used to cultivate pomegranate, brinjal, capsicum earlier. Swapnil Shivaji Mali said during an interview that it was a matter of college days. We all went somewhere to roam. Cashew sawing machine was seen there. Seeing this, we also thought of making a machine. To extract pomegranate seeds, we made a similar machine, which is now being used. The advantage of this machine was that the pomegranates used to throw away the grains in order to extract them. He also started working for us.
How does this dream machine work
Swapnil Shivaji Mali explains about this that two cutting blades and a mesh have been installed in the machine. The blade breaks the pomegranate. After breaking, the pomegranate seeds fall down through the lattice and the peels separate. During this, pomegranate juice also comes out, which is also used. Pomegranates that have been damaged in the machine can also be used easily. The seeds are packed after drying in sunlight or machine light. The advantage of drying and selling seeds is that it does not spoil for a long time. Raw fruits need to be stored in cold storage, but not for seeds.

Explaining the difference between breaking a pomegranate with a machine and a hand, Swapnil said that by hand we used to break four to five thousand fruits in a day, but now we break eight to nine thousand fruits of pomegranate daily.
