Ranchi : The welfare schemes being run by the Central and State Governments for the farmers should be completed on time so that the farmers can get the benefits of those schemes. To get these plans off the ground, make sure to complete the plans using different dimensions. The above instructions were given by Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh through video conferencing to the Deputy Commissioners of Palamu, Latehar and Garhwa and the officials of Agriculture Department. He was reviewing the work being done by the Agriculture Department in Palamu Division in the divisional level review meeting held at Nepal House today.
Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh directed the officials to expedite the selection of beneficiaries under the agriculture loan waiver scheme so that loans of maximum farmers could be waived off. He directed that this work should be completed by running a campaign.

Ensure publicity of plans
Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh said that the information about the schemes being run by the government should reach the farmers, make efforts for this. Provide information about the schemes in each block. For this, mark the major places of the block and by putting flax there, give information about the important schemes being run by the government for the farmers. By writing on the walls of the buildings of the agriculture departments at the district, divisional and block levels, one can give information about the plans. The Agriculture Minister said that following the guidelines of COVID, with the help of local artists, people can also be informed about the schemes through street plays. With this kind of publicity, more and more farmers will be able to take advantage of those schemes by becoming aware of the schemes.
Ensure timely seed distribution
In the review meeting, the Agriculture Minister said that the work of seed distribution should be ensured in time. He said that the seed distribution work should be done keeping in mind the demand of seeds in the divisions where demand is high. It was told in the meeting that 7 pulse mills would be set up in Latehar, 8 in Palamu and 7 in Garhwa. The Agriculture Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner of Palamu that the pulses of Palamu are very famous, they should reach abroad and the department will provide full help in this work. To bring the National Food Security Mission plan on the ground, which should be completed 100 percent by fulfilling its various dimensions.
Speed up KCC card making
Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh said that KCC cards are to be made for all the farmers of the state. He directed all the Deputy Commissioners of Palamu Division to ensure that all farmers in Palamu Division have to make KCC cards. Talk with the bank for this work and instruct them to expedite this work as soon as possible.
Agriculture department will implement the suggestions
Under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, all three districts have made very little progress against the target, get it completed at the earliest. Under the soil conservation plan, the work of rejuvenation of the ponds should be completed as soon as possible as well as the work of deep boring should be completed. In the meeting, the Agriculture Minister sought suggestions from the Deputy Commissioners of the three districts whether the target of the pond renovation scheme should be increased or not. All the Deputy Commissioners said that more and more beneficiary becomes more than the number of ponds found, so only by increasing the target, more and more beneficiaries will get its benefit.

Fisheries cooperation committee should be formed at every panchayat level
Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana and Feed Based Fisheries Scheme were also discussed in detail in which promotion of cage culture was considered. In this discussion, the Agriculture Minister directed that a Fisheries Cooperation Committee should be formed at every Panchayat level, as well as under the chairmanship of the Honorable Chief Minister and the Departmental Minister, under the chairmanship of the Departmental Minister, to promote forest and agricultural produce in the state and to provide proper markets, the State level Siddo- It was decided to set up district level cooperative society under the chairmanship of Kanhu Co-operative Society and Deputy Commissioner at district level. All the Deputy Commissioners were directed to take necessary action without delay for the selection / election of the members of the district level cooperative society.
Show-case to Palamu and Latehar Animal Husbandry Officer
In reviewing the Chief Minister’s Livestock Scheme, the Agriculture Minister directed the District Animal Husbandry Officers of both the districts to conduct show-causes after Palamu and Latehar districts distributed cows to fewer beneficiaries against the target. Along with this, the District Animal Husbandry Officer of all the three districts of Palamu division was directed to complete the scheme by selecting 100% beneficiaries in animal husbandry.
Priority should be given to maximum beneficiaries.
Agriculture Secretary Abu Bakr Siddiqui directed the Deputy Commissioners of Palamu Division and the officers of the Agriculture Department to complete the schemes being run by the Agriculture Department on priority basis so that maximum beneficiaries can get the benefit. The department will get full cooperation in this direction. Our priority is to provide benefits to maximum beneficiaries.
