These changes are related to the service charge and chequebook associated with cash deposit and withdrawal for the bank’s current account, overdraft account, cash credit account, savings account and other accounts. Bank of Baroda New rules for cash deposit
1. According to the information available on the bank’s website, cash handling charge for current account/overdraft/cash credit / other accounts in the base and local non-base branches from November 1, per cash, depositing more than Rs 1 lakh per account. 1000 rupees will be 1 rupee. This charge will be minimum of 50 rupees and maximum 20000 rupees.
In the case of current account/overdraft/cash/ credit / other accounts of the outstation branch, there is no change in the cash handling charge. This charge is Rs 2.50 per 1000 rupees on cash deposit of more than Rs 25000 per account per day.
2. After depositing cash 3 times in a month from November 1 in the savings account existing in the metro-urban branch of the bank (excluding transactions by other means), for the fourth time, there will be a charge of Rs 50 per deposit. Currently, there is no charge on cash deposits 5 times a month.
In case of Savings Account, Pensioner Account and Senior Citizen Accounts (excluding Basic Savings Bank Deposit / Financial Inclusion Accounts) of Rural / Semi-Urban Branch, now after depositing cash 3 times in a month (Transactions through other means not included) ) For the fourth time, there will be a charge of Rs 40 per deposit. Cash deposit is free 5 times a month. Apart from this, if cash of Rs 50000 or more is deposited in the mentioned accounts in a day, then the customer will have to tell his PAN to the bank and submit Form 60.
Bank of Baroda Cash withdrawal charges
1. Cash withdrawal from current account/overdraft / CC through the base branch, local non-base branch and outstation branch will now be free 3 times a month (no withdrawal from ATM). From the fourth time, there will be a charge of Rs 150 per transaction. Currently, cash withdrawal from the mentioned branches is free 5 times a month.
2. Talking about a savings account, cash withdrawal will be free 3 times a month from the metro-urban branch (excluding ATM withdrawals). After this, for the fourth time, there will be a charge of Rs 125 per transaction.
Cash can be withdrawn 3 times a month from November 1 through Savings Account, Pensioner Account and Senior Citizen Account (except Basic Savings Bank Deposit / Financial Inclusion Accounts) of Rural / Semi-Urban branches. After this, for the fourth time, there will be a charge of Rs 100 per transaction. In case of every type of account in the outstation branch, the account holder can withdraw maximum Rs 50000 in a day.
New rules regarding checkbook
From November 1, a chequebook containing 20 checks for the current account of the bank will be given at the time of opening the account. After this, the charge for the second checkbook will be Rs 5 per check. In case of cash credit/overdraft account, a checkbook charge of Rs 5 per check will be levied from the issue of the first checkbook at the time of opening the account.
