Its prices have increased by about 200 rupees in the last few months, due to which the kitchen of the common people is in bad condition. But if you know that the domestic gas cylinder will be available for less than Rs 300, then you will definitely want to know how. So let us tell you what is the process to get it
Actually, the government gives subsidy on domestic gas cylinders. In particular, under the Prime Minister Ujjwala scheme, the subsidy on gas cylinders has been increased from Rs 174.80 to Rs 312.80. So if you are registered under this scheme then you can save Rs 312 on the gas cylinder.
Aadhar card must be
To get subsidy on gas cylinders under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, your Aadhar card should be linked to this scheme. If not, then the amount of subsidy will not come in the account. To get LPG subsidy through Aadhaar card, Aadhar card will have to be linked to bank account. The same your mobile number is also required to be registered with the gas agency. If Aadhaar is not linked or the mobile number is not registered, then this facility will not be available.
How to register
Your Aadhaar card can be registered in three ways. The first is through a mobile number, the second via SMS and the third by visiting the UIDAI website. When your mobile number is registered, you can redistribute it by typing UID and sending it to the gas agency number. Once registered, information will come on your mobile.
Call this number
If you are not able to get it registered through SMS from mobile number, then you can call the toll free number 1800 2333 5555 of Indane’s gas agency and tell the employee there that you have to link your Aadhaar number. Customer care officers do this work hands-on.
Through UIDAI website
If you want to link your Aadhaar for gas subsidy online then you can also do this work through the UIDAI website. For this, by filling your name address, scheme, gas distributor information on the website, you can also link through the website to get your Aadhaar subsidy.
