Honda has unveiled the prototype of its Next Generation Civic. This will be the 11th generation model of the Civic and its sales will start in international markets from May 2021. The prototype of the Next Generation Honda Civic is a mix of the all-new sedan, hatchback, Si, and Type R models.
The 11th generation Civic will have a more sleek and soft touch, while the older model is aggressive and sharp. But this does not mean that the new Civic looks less sporty. Its charm is not less in the new look and design as well.
9 inch touchscreen infotainment system
Talking about the interior, the new generation Civic has been completely redesigned from the inside. It is longer than before. The wheelbase of the car is more than the old model. Honda has just released a sketch of the cabin of the new Civic. Large 9 inch touchscreen infotainment system has been given inside the car, all-digital instrument cluster and new steering wheel has been used.
The 10th generation model came in 2019
Honda says that the new Civic will have many new technologies and upgraded safety features. However, the company has not disclosed these yet. Honda introduced the 10th generation Civic in India in 2019. It competes with Hyundai Elantra and the new upcoming Next Generation Skoda Octavia. When the 11th Generation Civic will be launched in India, it is not confirmed yet.

The current generation Honda Civic’s ex-showroom Delhi price in India starts at Rs 17,93,900. The car has 1799 cc, 4 cylinder petrol engine and 1597 cc, 4 cylinder diesel engine. The petrol engine generates 104 PS power and 174 Nm of peak torque. Mileage is 16.5 km / l. The diesel engine produces 88 PS of power and a peak torque of 300 Nm. The diesel engine mileage is 23.9 km / l. There is a CVT automatic with petrol engine and 6 speed manual transmission with diesel engine.
