Skoda Auto India has finally revealed the production-spec Skoda Kushak compact SUV in India. This is the first vehicle developed under the ‘India 2.0’ project. 93 percent of the parts of this SUV are made in India. It is believed that the price of this SUV can be between 10 to 16 lakh rupees.
The production-spec version of Kushak is very similar to the Vision in Concept. The upfront features a डाkoda signature-style chrome-finish grille, flanked by split headlight and LED DRLs. It comes with sporty 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, dual-tone bumpers and lettering on the डाkoda tailgate. However, the lower and medium variants of the SUV get 16-inch steel rims and 16-inch alloy wheels respectively.
The cabin of the SUV is well balanced and neatly designed with dual tone paint scheme. It includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless mirrorlink, ventilated front seats, AC vents at the rear, MID instrument console, cruise control, ambient lighting, seven-speaker music system and steering wheel, auto-dimming IRVMs, steering-mounted controls, wireless charger , My Skoda Connect, 10-inch infotainment system with two-spoke.
The Skoda Kushak SUV has been offered with a choice of two petrol engines. It has 1.0-liter three-cylinder TSI and 1.5-liter four-cylinder TSI options.
Transmission options include a 6-speed manual transmission with an optional 6-speed automatic transmission (1.0-liter TSI) and a 7-speed DSG (1.5-liter TSI).
The Skoda Kushak 6 is equipped with airbags, ESC, hill-hold control, tire pressure monitoring, ISOFIX child seat mounts, auto headlamps and wipers, multi-bump braking system and many safety features.
The Skoda Kushaq SUV has a length of 4,221 mm, width 1,760 mm and height 1,612 mm. It has a ground clearance of 188 mm. The compact SUV will be available in five colors – Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Carbon Steel, Honey Orange and Tornado Red.
