Ola Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Ola, on Wednesday announced free and easy availability of oxygen concentrators for COVID-19 patients living in home isolation in Chandigarh. Under this initiative, home isolation patients or their caregivers can request for oxygen concentrator through the Ola app itself by providing some basic details.
After submitting the details, Ola will arrange free home delivery of oxygen concentrator by specially trained personnel through its cabs. Ola will also arrange for the return of the oxygen concentrator when the patient recovers and no longer requires oxygen support or has moved out of home isolation, and then sterilizes it for use by the next patient.

Let us tell you that Ola will not charge any fee for the concentrates from the users. At the same time, the company will take back that oxygen concentrator when no one will need it.
Ola’s co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal has said that, we need to come together in this epidemic. We are partnering with GiveIndia today for O2forIndia. With the help of this, we will easily deliver oxygen concentrators free of cost to those needy who are in need of it at the moment.
He further said that, Ola app users can put the request of the concentrators in the Ola app. Once the request is validated, Ola will deliver the concentrators to the users’ doorsteps and then put them back when they are not needed. No charges will be taken for concentrators and transportation.
