Vehicle maker Tata Motors on Tuesday announced that its recently launched flagship new SUV Tata Safari Vivo will be the official partner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. This will be the company’s fourth consecutive year with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Tata Motors said in a statement that after the tournament is returned to India this year, the company is keen to showcase its vehicle on this prestigious platform and the newly introduced new Safari will be seen here. Let us know that the IPL will start in Chennai on April 9 and will be played in six major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata. At the same time, the finals will be held in Ahmedabad.
Vivek Srivastava, Head Marketing, Tata Motors, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, said that this year’s IPL is very special for the company as the tournament has made a comeback to Indian venues after a tough year. Safari has received a tremendous response due to the premium design, features and comfort and now it is going to make an IPL debut with a new avatar. New Tata Safari to be showcased at all stadiums
Tata Motors has been the official partner of this tournament since 2018 and as an official partner company will showcase the new Tata Safari at the stadiums in Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. At the same time, the player with the highest strike rate in the IPL will be given a reward of one lakh rupees.
Features of New Tata Safari
Tata Safari has been launched recently and has received tremendous response from customers. The new Tata Safari has a 2.0-liter diesel engine that generates maximum power of 167.62 bhp and torque of 320 Nm. Apart from this, it has a 6 speed manual transmission and 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
This Tata SUV has been developed on IMPACT 2.0 design language and Omega architecture. The company also used this platform to build its famous SUV Tata Harrier. This is the D8 platform of Land Rover, its body frame and chassis make this SUV special.
Talking about its other features, the third row of the vehicle i.e. the third row also has features such as aircon vents, USB charging slot, cup holder, reading lamp. With this, you can also fold the seat easily in this row. The starting ex-showroom price of this SUV is Rs. 14.69 lakhs.
