After Maruti Suzuki and Hero MotoCorp, now Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has also announced that it will increase the prices of its vehicles from next month. Toyota Kirloskar Motor said in a statement that, from 1 April 2021, the company will change the prices of its models. Toyota believes that due to increase in input cost, the company has to take this decision.
The automaker said that during testing times, it is our endeavor to reduce the cost increase through internal efforts. In such a situation, if the insects will be increased, then it will be very less and customers will get a glimpse of it only on a few parts.
As a customer-centric company, Toyota is always committed to customers. In such a situation, the entire focus of the company is to meet the ever-increasing needs of the customers. The company sold a total of 14,075 units in the month of February 2021, registering a 36% increase in domestic sales, while its wholesale sales in the month of February 2020.
Earlier, Maruti Suzuki India Limited and Hero MotoCorp had also announced separate price hikes from April. Hero MotoCorp announced on Tuesday that it will revise the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycle and scooter up to Rs 2,500 from 1 April. The increase has been announced to offset the impact of rising input costs.
At the same time, Nissan India is also included in this list. In a statement issued by Nissan India, it is said that in view of the expensive raw materials, it is going to increase the prices of all its cars from next month. The company will increase the price of all models of Nissan and Datsun from 1 April 2201.
