Bajaj Auto Q2 Result: Auto company Bajaj Auto’s profit fell 19 percent in the September quarter. During this time, Bajaj Auto has made a profit of 1138 crores. It has been weaker than anticipated. Whereas in the same quarter a year ago, Bajaj Auto had a profit of Rs 1402 crore. The company’s revenue decreased by 7 percent in the September quarter, while the sales of vehicles declined by 10 percent during this period.
Revenue 7,156 Crore
Bajaj Auto’s revenue in the September quarter fell 7 per cent year-on-year to Rs 7,156 crore. Whereas in the same quarter a year ago, the company’s revenue was Rs 7707 crore. Operating profit declined by 1 per cent to Rs 1,267 crore in the second quarter, while the operating margin increased from 16.6 per cent to 17.7 per cent on an annual basis.
Surplus cash
The company had surplus cash till the end of the September quarter. At the end of the first quarter where the company had 13232 crores of cash. At the end of the September quarter, the company had Rs 16,240 crore. crore in Q2 against Rs 14,232 crore in Q1.

Vehicle sales decreased
Bajaj Auto sold a total of 1,053,337 units in the September quarter. This is 10 per cent less on an annual basis. The company sold 1,173,591 vehicles in the year-ago quarter. However, in the two-wheeler segment, the company has grown by 6 percent on an annual basis. During this time, the company has sold 5,50,195 two-wheelers in the domestic market.
